Joyce Harader, RCST®
I am a Healing Arts Practitioner serving people and animals. I have been helping clients to realize their own healing potential for over 30 years, working primarily from a foundation of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), and incorporating other complementary modalities when needed. I’m passionate about this work! It has made such a profound difference in my life and in the lives of those I work with. This work empowers my clients to heal their bodies, relieving chronic pain, imbalances and other unwanted symptoms while creating deeper internal resiliency. They are able to hone in on their life purpose and creatively express it, making their own unique and powerful contributions out into the world.
I began developing and teaching 3-year-long, 700-hour BCST Foundation Trainings in 2007, so that the power of BCST could reach more people faster, raising the health of this world exponentially. I have taught 10+ Foundation Trainings, and have also offered year long Advanced Trainings in Equine Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I am an approved teacher with the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (BCTA/NA) and served on their Board of Directors for 3 years.

I completed my own three year BCST Foundation Training in 2003, which led me to an experience of health I did not know was possible.
I completed my Polarity Therapy training in 2009, which taught me more deeply that energy is the basis of everything we experience in life. It compliments Biodynamics greatly and has brought a deeper level of understanding of energy anatomy into my Biodynamics Foundation Trainings and clinical practice. Prior to that, I was a licensed massage therapist for 8 years beginning in 1992, which started developing my sense of touch and my intuitive skills.
I began my self discovery journey at the age of 28, when I become a single parent with two young daughters. Shortly thereafter, I had a severe health breakdown and diagnosis of Systematic Lupus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein Barr, Mononucleosis and Candida. Allopathic medicine only offered drug therapy. My intuition told me there were better options. I began seeking out Alternative Health Practitioners, incorporating a rigorous program of good nutrition, vitamins, herbs, homeopathics, holistic therapies and essential oils to support my body in my healing process which continues today.
Receiving my first craniosacral session profoundly changed my life, and pointed me in a new and important direction. Through the power of Biodynamics, I started to explore and resolve the mental and emotional trauma and underlying unhealthy belief systems that were a part of my dis-ease.
Joyce is passionate about helping people and animals with the power of BCST.
About Me
In 2002, with the purchase of my first equine companion, Merlin, my love and passion for animals led me to expand my services to include domestic and exotic animal companions as well. I built a large practice in the Chicago suburbs, and return to Illinois 3 – 4 times a year (always March, June, September and occasional Decembers) to visit my two daughters and their families (my five amazing grandchildren), and see clients.
Over 30 years into my health journey has found me healthier than I ever was in my childhood or teen years. My body has also healed without the use of any pharmaceutical or Tylenol type drugs, or antibiotics since my diagnosis. My commitment to embodiment, which is the goal of genuine healing work, has been an informative, exciting, and sometimes painfully intense process. My experience gives me insight, compassion, and Mastery in serving others on their personal journey to find and live their life purpose and innate health.

Mission & Vision

F.A.Q
Where did you complete your training?
My three year Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Foundation Training took place in Evanston, Illinois. It consisted of 10 five-day modules held every three months.
How many years have you been practicing?
I started my holistic practice in 1992 as a massage therapist. My practice evolved to primarily Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy after completing my three year training in 2003.
What makes you different from other BCST practitioners?
My unique life experiences have taught me much on my healing journey that I bring into my client sessions along with 30 years of consciously “walking my talk.” I can only support someone’s healing journey to the degree that I have been willing to explore my own trauma, see and resolve old belief patterns that no longer serve me, and take care of my body to the degree needed to truly improve my health each year.
